U4UBand

U4U is a Cleveland-based pop/rock band with Talented Ukrainian and American ally musicians joined after the start of war in Ukraine. The band was born out of resilience, creativity, and a desire to keep Ukrainian culture alive while building bridges in their new American home.

The lineup includes a lead singer – Ivan Prodanyk, pianist/keyboardist – Olena Alieksieieva, bassist – Daniel Verkhlin, and drummer – Candee Brown, bringing together a rich blend of classical training, contemporary sound, and raw rock energy. U4U performs original songs in the Ukrainian language, telling stories of love, hope, and survival, while also delivering unique cover versions of world-famous hits that connect with audiences across cultures.

At its core, U4U is more than just a band — it is a cultural movement. Their mission is to preserve and develop Ukrainian music, share it with diverse audiences, and integrate it into American society. Through their performances, U4U seeks to inspire unity, celebrate identity, and prove that music can transcend borders.

Since their founding, U4U has performed at cultural festivals, benefit concerts, and community events across Northeast Ohio, gaining recognition for their powerful stage presence, heartfelt storytelling, and ability to connect with both Ukrainian and American audiences.
